  • Enjoy but mic issues

I really enjoy the pod, but on the two most recent episodes, the mic kept cutting our for one of the hosts, which made it unlistenable for me. This hasn’t been an issue in the past.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 805: Thunder Discourse with David Lee
Q: So from a Thunder standpoint, what is your opinion on Chet as a basketball player, and how might moving him off ball affect him and his teammates?
Chet has the potential to thrive off-ball because it opens up space for himself and teammates, but the Thunder must ensure adequate ball handling and shooting around him so the team isn't overly reliant on one player. His progression will hinge on speed of decision-making and improving his off-ball movement and reads, especially in a system that values pace and spacing.
Episode 385: DIVING INTO THE DRAFT feat Stephen Gillaspie and Jam Hines of No Ceilings!
Q: What are the realistic top targets for OKC at 12, 17, and 37?
The panel leans toward a wing/guard-forward mix with Yaxel Lindenborg at 12, Alan Graves at 17, and Sergio De La Raya at 37, with alternate considerations around Cam Carr or Maurez Johnson depending on how the board falls and whether they prioritize shooting, defense, or upside across the three picks.
Episode 392: DRAFT REACTIONS WITH CHUCKING DARTS
Q: Given Mara at 12 and trading up for Stirtz, what would be your draft grade for the Thunder?
A cautious B grade overall, with Mara regarded as one of the best fits in the 10-12 range and Stirtz as a high-floor, potentially strong but less certain developmental pick.
Episode 392: DRAFT REACTIONS WITH CHUCKING DARTS
Q: How do you feel about our haul so far with Aday Mara and Bennett Stirtz?
Mara is a strong pick with immediate defensive value and solid rim protection; Stirtz is a high-IQ, efficient scorer who could grow into a reliable contributor, though there are questions about his athletic ceiling and fit with Shea and other stars.
Episode 759: JUSTIN MARTINEZ OF THE OKLAHOMAN JOINS THE SHOW
Q: How did you go from Texas to Oklahoma to cover the Thunder?
He recounts a winding path through North Dakota, New Mexico, and finally Oklahoma, where he progressed from co-beat writer to full-time NBA beat reporter.
