  • Insightful

Louise is such a gifted an engaging host! I love the variety in this podcast, from vulnerable and informational solo episodes to knowledgable guest interviews, to diving in to the deep personal growth work. I don’t know many, if any, sober podcasts that have this mix of personal stories, that remind us there is a vast community and we’re never alone, and coaching where we can elevate our recovery with next level personal development. Thank you so much, Louise!

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

113. Cole's Story: Only OK to Be Gay If I Was High
Q: What would you tell a gay man struggling with addiction right now?
Normal consumers don't negotiate with themselves about their drinking or use; if you're thinking about needing to get sober, you probably do. Second, for most gay men, sexuality and substances are usually a package deal if addiction has taken root. Lastly, the focus should shift from how you look to how you feel to truly recover from the unhealthy relationship with your body.
102. Anish Punjabi: "Music Shattering Stereotypes"
Q: How did you know you wanted to make those changes?
Something clicked when my sister left; there was so much change going on, and I realized I needed to take time to restructure and kind of break down the car and rebuild it.
102. Anish Punjabi: "Music Shattering Stereotypes"
Q: So what was the first thing you did?
The first thing I did was I started just eating better. I started eating way better.
