While I think the banter between these guys is decent, I could barely get through their episode about “The Paper” because the one host sounds like he needs to clear his throat. It’s incredibly grating his gravely voice, just really difficult to listen to.
I listened to the first 15 minutes of a Blood of my Blood podcast and was appalled by how bad and superficial it is. So much misinformation. Lots of comparisons to Game of Thrones (boar hunt) but no reference to the extended boar hunting scenes in OL first season The Gathering. It’s like listening to someone who only watched a movie trailer discuss the movie through the lens of another movie. Hard pass!
Funny that yall made the outlander-for all mankind comparison in the blood of my blood episode, they are both Ronald Moore productions!
Well, I agree that this show doesn’t go in depth with every episode, it’s not trying to do that — It offers an engaging discourse on a show and sometimes that’s what I want. Someone to bounce thoughts off of – thanks for what you provide!
