I absolutely love this podcast and it is definitely the best one out there, I am updating my review as Owen’s podcast is one of the few which are consistent. I agree with a previous review , you are transported to the fire pit and the stories are magical! Totally wonderful
This podcast is superb, the Welsh folktales are enhanced by Owen’s evocative voice. I can’t recommend highly enough.
This is a wonderful podcast. The Cottingley Faires episode is my favourite so far. First, Owen took me back to my own childhood when I saw the photos for the first time, then he moved me to tears with his take on why the girls created the photos. Thank you, Owen.
I love this podcast. One of the best there is. Very atmospheric and evocative

Atmospheric storytelling focused on Welsh folklore, legends, and ghost tales, delivered in a calm, immersive style around a metaphorical fire pit. Episodes weave history, place, and memory with intimate narration, often partnering with folklorists or authors to deepen context. Notable for its strong sense of place, mindful pacing, and a cinematic approach to traditional tales that range from sacred Christmas narratives to regional legends and supernatural lore.
