Really entertaining show - it’s great to learn more about the history of all these interesting locations (predominantly northern England and Scotland - reflecting Rob’s base in North-east England) - Rob gives a rundown of the history and ghost tales of each place, and sometimes he and his friends have visited the location and conducted ghost hunts of their own. For these episodes Rob reads accounts of how the ghost hunts went, which is an enjoyable addition and sets this podcast a little apart... more

Love this podcast as it’s part history, part ghost stories and part travel blog. Found this as I’m a huge Uncanny fan and this filled in the void nicely. Great historic background to the sites and ghost tales. My favourite episodes are the actual ghost hunts which are part hilarious and part scary. My new favourite podcast.

I really enjoy this podcast. It is well thought out and researched, but the sound effects that are twice as loud as the rest of it are so obnoxious! It just cheapens the overall experience. more
