Could listen to these women talk about any subject related to food & food culture. So interesting and insightful and also, casual and accessible! Always a great listen
I love this podcast. It feels like I’m sitting in a restaurant eavesdropping on a conversation happening at the next table. Silverton, Ochoa and Reichl are naturals. There are so many trying-too-hard podcasts and they make it seem effortless. A great combination of personal preferences and opinions and culinary wisdom from years of experience.
Hearing 3 incredible women food experts talk about the nuances of dishes, terminology, and cuisines is such a pleasure. The palpable respect and friendship between them is one of my favorite features of the show. Grateful they’ve gotten together to share their wisdom with listeners.
I feel like a fly on the wall and I love it. I was already a Nancy fan and now I’m getting to know Ruth and Laurie and love all three of these women. They’re witty, wise, and completely authentic. I leave every episode inspired and delighted. And major plus… I’m gleaning insights on how to be a better cook and baker. Please never stop making this show.
I have been mostly enjoying this podcast with the exception of this latest episode. It occasionally feels like first world problems are the subject. For instance, how irritated they are when someone, or even professional chefs no less (oh the horror), “take over your kitchen.” I truly couldn’t relate. But then I’m just a regular person in a regular kitchen. Not on their level by any means.
