I absolute adore the team behind this podcast and have so much respect for their work. I fully support the idea of them being compensated/sponsored for the tremendous effort put into this podcast.
But the ads in the episodes are horribly disrupting. There isn’t even an announcement for an ad break. It just pops in mid-sentence and worse yet, plays at 2-3 times the volume of the podcast.
