I absolute adore the team behind this podcast and have so much respect for their work. I fully support the idea of them being compensated/sponsored for the tremendous effort put into this podcast.
But the ads in the episodes are horribly disrupting. There isn’t even an announcement for an ad break. It just pops in mid-sentence and worse yet, plays at 2-3 times the volume of the podcast. I only began listening to This Week in Skating this year, and I’ve since become a devotee. Gina and Daphne are magnificent guides to the complex disciplines that comprise the world of figure skating. They are exceedingly knowledgeable, winsome, and generous. I’ve never heard co-hosts on a podcast that are so fiersomeky together. They’re on my podium every week — thank you G and D !!!!
