  • Hanretty so lame

Great podcast….odious guest - Hanretty on sexual assault allegations: basically “two sides” ..compared Gabby’s trauma to “Beckham” family feud. So..good people on both sides, eh?

  • Perfect for the figure skating nerd

Figure skating, as a judged sport, can be sometimes be inscrutable in its scoring. Jackie Wong and Michelle Ellis provide clear-eyed, detailed commentary, doing deep-dives into the rules, each skater’s techniques and programs. They pull back the veil and provide context on the trajectory of the skaters’ careers, the different countries’ federations, and the current competitive field. It’s great in this lead-up to the Olympics.

  • Reed and Ambrulevicius interview

Loved Jackie’s interview with Allison and Saul, my favorite ice dance team and the best performers in this past weekend’s 2025 Grand Prix Finals in their rhythm and their free. Bravo them and bravo Rocker Ppd !!

I have always appreciated Jackie’s commentary and find it really soothing to listen to his analysis. But now I also enjoy Michelle so much!! I went back to listen to her four part dance lore and she is so funny and a joy to learn from. So grateful for this podcast!

  • Yay, A Skating Podcast for Fans!

Delighted to have Rocker Skating finally doing a podcast! I like the analysis and the brevity of the episodes. 2 criticism: Michelle needs to be conscientious about how many times she says, “mmm hmmm” while Jackie is talking. Apologies for pointing out but as a listener, it can be a bit grating. Also, when bringing up an issue like Alyssa Liu needing to change her program music for her Short, there’s a mention of the “body in the trunk” but no full context or explanation of what you were talking... more
