This week, Dan and Justin read Matthew 25 and a bit of Matthew 26. The two of them go deep into the Parable of the Ten Virgins, how to account for inflation when you betray the Son of God, and, of course, who deserves a dab or two of perfume.
Dan and Justin get into Matthew 24, the prophecy of the Abomination of Desolation, and how the Rapture became one of Christianity's scariest (and newest) tools for reaching followers.
Dan and Justin dive back into the parables this week as Jesus tries to explain to the error of their ways to the Pharisees and Sadducees. It's a lot of taxes, a lot of trickery, and at least one Kimmy Schmidt reference.
Jesus heads back into town for the beginning of Holy Week, and Justin and Dan discuss the Southern lore of the dogwood tree, the history of palm fronds, and the infamous table flip heard 'round the Bible.

As a recovering Catholic turned atheist who knows very little about the Bible, I love this podcast. The hosts are both hilarious and incredibly well informed, blending historical context with sharp humor and fascinating insight into Southern evangelical culture.
Great banter, thoughtful discussion and practical insights into Scripture. Justin and Dan make bible study engaging and easy to understand. Highly recommend.
I love this podcast. I wish I found it later so that I had more to listen to.
