  • Excitable boy

Love the show. Love your energy. But please try to dial back the excitement you get and you talk over the guest and we miss facts made by the guest. Please.

  • Great! Ads aren’t great!

Love listening to Kevin break things down in a humorous and insightful manner. But woof, the ads are rough. Some episodes feel like more advertising content than actual football talk.

  • ESPN getting their money

Amazing pod. Kevin is one of the best in the biz talking football, but can ESPN not exploit him for a crazy amount of ads for such a short pod? Yeeeesh

  • Insufferably anti-fan

The 7/25 podcast w/ Gregg Rosenthal encapsulated the worst of this show. Nothing is more annoying than listening to two professional football podcasters lament the annoying takes of fans. Yes, fans are usually annoying. But they are also listening to and commenting on your creative work, the two metrics that justify your jobs. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t get aggravated by terrible fan takes, but you should absolutely not openly complain about it in a “god these people are THE WORST” tone t... more

  • Please stop pretending you know football

This podcast is extremely cringy. Like yikes. Stop pretending you’re a football guy. You’re a journalist. So awkward.

Training Camp Storylines with Gregg Rosenthal
Q: What was your favorite part of the Michael Lombardi era at UNC?
Gregg Rosenthal reflects on the era with a mix of nostalgia and critical appraisal, noting the ups and downs and the broader impact on the program, while acknowledging memorable games and coaching dynamics.
Inside Lions Training Camp with Jared Goff, Brad Holmes & Drew Petzing
Q: What makes Jared Goff able to create completions when there isn't always an obvious open target?
Goff relies on anticipation, precise understanding of windows, and trust in his receivers to be in the right spots, which allows him to convert difficult plays into completions.
Josh Allen, Joe Brady, Shedeur Sanders & More | Bills and Browns Training Camp
Q: What has changed most about training camp since you started in football?
A stricter daily routine and a clearer path from spring to the season, with more emphasis on installing and evaluating in pads.
Lavonte David on Tom Brady, Winning a Super Bowl & Retired Life
Q: What was the moment you knew the Chiefs were in trouble in the Super Bowl?
The moment when Patrick Mahomes had almost no time back there to throw; the Chiefs couldn't sustain pressure, and our front and back end executed the plan with confidence, which showed we could disrupt their offense.
Seth Wickersham on Bill Belichick, Sean Payton and NFL coaching secrets
Q: What was the most interesting thing you learned about football from being in those meetings?
Two big takeaways were the importance of the human element—how players' hands and comfort with routes can influence play design—and how coaches use very granular, sometimes almost surgical, data to tailor plays and game plans.
