Love the show. Love your energy. But please try to dial back the excitement you get and you talk over the guest and we miss facts made by the guest. Please.

  • Great! Ads aren’t great!

Love listening to Kevin break things down in a humorous and insightful manner. But woof, the ads are rough. Some episodes feel like more advertising content than actual football talk.

  • ESPN getting their money

Amazing pod. Kevin is one of the best in the biz talking football, but can ESPN not exploit him for a crazy amount of ads for such a short pod? Yeeeesh

  • Insufferably anti-fan

The 7/25 podcast w/ Gregg Rosenthal encapsulated the worst of this show. Nothing is more annoying than listening to two professional football podcasters lament the annoying takes of fans. Yes, fans are usually annoying. But they are also listening to and commenting on your creative work, the two metrics that justify your jobs. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t get aggravated by terrible fan takes, but you should absolutely not openly complain about it in a “god these people are THE WORST” tone t... more

How To Develop NFL Players With Mario Cristobal
Q: How did you get to a point where you were a pipeline for NFL talent, where that had dried up in Coral Gables?
Cristobal explains that it starts with people, a philosophy where the bigs lead the way, a relentless offseason and in-season training, and coaches who push players yet keep them grounded and motivated.
Todd Monken on Shedeur Sanders & Jesse Minter on Lamar Jackson
Q: What is the best call of your career?
Some of the best calls were those that helped us win big games, but the best calls are the ones that you end up revising or regretting in hindsight, recognizing that you didn't have every piece of information at that moment.
