I do adore how much Charles pisses off NFL internet sometimes and he’s usually right. Great show

Edit: hey boys tell your overlords at Yahoo sports that no one cares what AI thinks about football and cut that segment entirely from your show. Get it out of there

  • Not particularly great but not terrible either

It’s not a bad show and Nate is generally pleasant and informative, but his two alternating co-hosts are insufferable. I avoid all episodes with Charles in particular, who had the audacity to claim that the only difference between Vrabel and Mayo was injury luck. Nate is clearly non-confrontational to the extreme so having to deal with two arrogant personalities ends up leading to an endless stream of “I agree” and unwarranted fake laughter.

Love you guys. Great show. I don’t have socials so this is the only way I can reach out. Could y’all take a look at Texas EDGE Ethan Burke. He wasn’t invited to the combine but as someone who has watched him for years and he has the measurables of a long term nfl player, I would just like to know what y’all think of him.

    Thanks!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Worst-to-first teams, Myles Garrett vs. Jared Verse, the "Start J.J. McCarthy" movement?!
Q: What is work to you for the Daboll-Ward marriage question and can it work in Titans' offense?
The hosts think it'll be better than last year but define 'work' as better than atrocious, with Ward showing enough processing and throwing ability to fit a spread or shotgun approach, while Daboll's play-calling remains a variable.
7 developing trends that could CHANGE the NFL + where will Brendan Sorsby land? feat. Bill Barnwell
Q: What's the bigger trend you're watching—under-center or tempo—and how might that shape 2026 season dynamics?
The trend toward under-center is real and ties to better leverage of quarterback run games, but tempo remains a critical lever for information advantage; defenses are faster at masking and reacting, so offenses may favor faster, more adaptive play calls to combat smarter defenses.
7 developing trends that could CHANGE the NFL + where will Brendan Sorsby land? feat. Bill Barnwell
Q: Do you think teams will actually bid top-round picks for Sorsby, or will it be more probable to see him land in the mid rounds?
Barnwell suggests a wider range of outcomes depending on how teams value the quarterback in the year ahead, the strength of their current roster, and the ability to project development; some teams may gamble with mid-round picks if the perceived upside is high and the cost of missing is manageable.
7 developing trends that could CHANGE the NFL + where will Brendan Sorsby land? feat. Bill Barnwell
Q: What makes Brendan Sorsby's situation so unique in the supplemental draft context?
The unique blend of Sorsby's tools, the history of supplemental picks, and the way teams bid with their own extra capital creates a scenario where a later round pick could become a developmental long-term investment for teams with quarterback contingencies or rebuilds.
2026 NFL Draft FINAL preview & bold predictions with Dane Brugler + Carnell Tate joins
Q: What are your bold predictions or flags one week out from the draft?
Dane predicts a run on offensive linemen in the first round and a potential run on receivers; he also hints at aggressive Cowboys moves and potential surprises in the back half of the first round.
