  • Top Tier Christian Podcast

Sean and Scott’s general, non-specific approach covers a wide variety of topics, exploring each one from a Biblical perspective. While some people weaponize the word “Biblical” to mean “the one and only way to think about things”, Sean and Scott use it to refer to the Bible as the ultimate authority. Their thoughtful and wise insights on the topics have been so helpful in my walk with the Lord.

  • Perspectives presented in good failth

I'm not a Christian and don't always agree, but I love this podcast because it offers high quality, well-researched, bible-based, measured persepctives put forth in good faith (in my opinion).

One area of improvement would be to have more guests or topics shared by a woman from a women's POV.

The host's and guest's perspectives often do challenge my beliefs. Many times they articulate the opposing side in a respectful way.

Thank you (and the sound crew/support staff) for making this avaliab... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Cultural Update: UK Revival Questioned; Child Safety on Social Media; Posthumous Sperm Retrieval
Q: What implications does the posthumous sperm retrieval practice raise?
The practice invites deep ethical concerns about consent and the implications of intentionally creating fatherless families, focusing on what is best for the children born under such circumstances.
Cultural Update: UK Revival Questioned; Child Safety on Social Media; Posthumous Sperm Retrieval
Q: What is your take on the trends of faith among young adults in the UK?
A challenging narrative exists around supposed revival among young adults, with statistical analyses showing a decrease in Christian identification rather than an increase. Many faith leaders report increased engagement, but skepticism persists regarding the methodologies used in surveys.
Cultural Update: $2 Million Gender Medicine Verdict; AI Boyfriends; Politics at the Grammys
Q: Are you guys willing to step in and say something about immigration and the refugee arrests from an ethical and moral perspective?
It's important to consider biblical verses in context and not just choose sides politically; God has a heart for immigrants but also values laws and borders.
Cultural Update: $2 Million Gender Medicine Verdict; AI Boyfriends; Politics at the Grammys
Q: How do you think pastors and leaders should handle the dangers of alcohol with their congregations?
Pastors should be respectful of people's past experiences with alcohol while also conveying biblical principles about moderation and the dangers of substance abuse.
Why The Church Still Matters Today (with Carmen Imes)
Q: What would you say to the person who says, 'I don't need the church, I'm getting everything I need online'?
There's something artificial about getting a bunch of 18 to 22-year-olds in the same room and calling it community; we need intergenerational friendships that only a church can provide.
