  • More Sean, Less Scott please

I’d give this 4 maybe even 5 stars but Scott incessantly interrupts Sean and takes over the conversation for minutes on end before Sean gets to speak again.

I want to hear Sean’s takes and opinions. I don’t want to hear Scott drone on and on and on.

Q: Is church discipline still possible today? How should a listener approach discipline when people leave churches rather than submit to leadership?
The guest suggests a robust membership framework helps discipline work, noting the need for a context where leaders can address unrepentant behavior, while acknowledging that many people leave churches, which undermines the redemptive aim of discipline.
