The December episode on “We Can’t Both Be Christians” is a beneficial conversation for intentional, loving, and practical dialogue about the basis for Christianity and any religion, and in this case specifically the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Greg avoids disparaging other’s beliefs or straw manning to oversimplify—instead he uses primary sources, gives clear arguments, and walks through how only one group can be Christians based on what both groups believe.
Greg does such a wonderful job answering all the questions that are brought to him.
Greg and the whole team make amazing show. It is always clear thinking, challenging, and edifying for the christian and non-christian alike. In an era of noise and lots of podcast fights, this show always builds up, sharpens, and encourages listeners, even if you may not agree with everything said on the show. Thanks STR team for equipping the church.
Grace and peace to you,

I came across this after reading Greg’s book Tactics. A book that has helped me immensely to process conversations and communicate thoughts more clearly. That’s what this podcast does for me as well, but usually with a more targeted issues such as current events.
David Wood killed his father and did time in prison?? Nabil only portrayed him as an amazing man of God. How spectacular!

The show consistently centers on Christian apologetics, biblical interpretation, and practical theology, often balancing rigorous argument with accessible Q&A from listeners. Episodes frequently feature in-depth discussions of scripture, theology (including the Trinity, covenants, and grace vs. works), and contemporary cultural issues, framed to equip believers with clear, charitable responses. A notable pattern is hosted dialogues with guests who bring scholarly, historical, or experiential perspectives, along with practical street-apologetics content and audience-driven questions. It stands out for its focus on thoughtful, theologically grounded dialogue, a steady stream of practical guidance for engaging skeptics, and a culture of calm, ... more
