This a GREAT resource and very encouraging to how others got started and how they were able to build their programs!
I hope you will produce more shows soon.
This podcast is amazing! It is a huge resource for a teacher on a island as the only Video teacher in my area. Please keep producing this podcast.
I think we can all admit to a little jealousy when someone hits on an idea that we know we should have had first. That's the way I am with this podcast. Kevin stole the idea I hadn't had yet. :)
I've been admiring all of these video/film teachers from afar for years, but Kevin had the brilliant (and courageous) idea to reach out and talk to them.
So, yeah, I'm a little jealous. I'm also a lot glad he did it. This is a fantastic resource for those of us who know just how BIG what we do is... ... more
These are fantastic. Teaching TV can be so hard. It involves so many areas- writing, teaching technical equipment, artistic principles, trouble shooting, computers etc.. Then you throw in the need to raise funds, the video demands from the school and the responsibility of students outside the classroom. It can be so overwhelming, especially for new teachers. This podcast really helps as it gives ideas, advice and let's everyone know they are not alone.
Way to go Kevin, keep them coming!

Great podcast! Helps me to be a better journalist!
The Podcast itself is great and gives you a taste of the world of Media/TV teachers and program directors. I am one of Omar Delgado’s students and I loved his episode. Great Job you guys!
Really well done and helpful to see as a journalism student!
As a video Teacher, you usually are the only one at your school that teaches video. It is possible that you are one of the few people in your district that teaches video; this podcast lets you feel like you’re not on an island. It provides insight and tips on how to improve your program from other teachers that teach the same thing as you. Really appreciate the work Kevin has done with this!
Kevin's interviews with expereinced BVP teachers really help new and existing teachers gain perspective on their BVP/AVTF programs. Great podcast and worth your time!
We don't have to be on an island anymore
I wish something like this was around when I first started. Amazing idea and great execution.
