This story feels like one of those soft-spoken tales told over a campfire in the quiet dusk. I was hooked from the worldbuilding episodes and couldn’t put it down. more
This podcast is fantastic. Its strength lies in its careful and rich worldbuilding, setting believable scenes in which the characters' stakes always feel real. Very emotive, the podcast explores character relationships alongside the plot, and Adam's GM style is very impressive. There is also plenty of LGBTQ+ rep for those looking to see something of themselves in characters and relationships. more
This is a wonderful, poignant, often moving and interesting actual play podcast. The mood is closer to Friends At The Table or Feelings First than lots of other podcasts out there - they take storytelling seriously, and I'm absolutely here for that.
The more stories I hear in this world, the more I love it (definitely not in the "I'd want to live there" sense, but absolutely in the "trickle more of it syrup-like into my mind's eye" sense).
The world building in this actual play is astonishing - the storytelling is riveting and the characters are rich and compelling. Think Shadow of the Colossus as an RPG. An actual play that feels cinematic in scope, very much recommend.
