5 stars for Andy and Ross. -4 for Godfrey.
I have tried to listen and ignore Godfrey but I can’t. Ross and Andy bring facts and knowledge to the show. Godfrey brings pompous political posturing. There is a reason the Washington Post is failing. Dump this clown and make the show listenable.
Godfrey is making this pod almost unlistenable. Yes we get it, he hates trump. Who cares. I don’t come to this show to get political hot takes. I come for Ross’s explanation over his reporting and Andy keeping it fun and loose.
A political joke now and again is one thing but when Godfrey makes it over a third of a segment is another.
How I used to love this show. A three person podcast does not work when two of the three are alpha types to the point of not being able to stand anyone else speaking for more than 5-10 seconds at a time. Andy and Godfrey can’t keep their mouths shut if their lives depended on it. I have no problem with either one of them personally but the show is unlistenable. It is not a professional product.
He is snarky, unsufferable, and cannot stop talking over other participants. Also, I’m beyond tired of his constant leftist union-organizing harangue.
Godfrey is left wing trash that takes over show. Love Andy n Ross.

The show analyzes college football with a sharp mix of reporting, data-driven insights, and accessible banter, frequently weaving in NIL economics, coaching moves, conference realignment, and postseason formats into the sports narrative. Episodes balance hard analysis on teams, players, and governance with candid banter about media, sponsorships, and the evolving business of the sport, often anchored by insider context and a veteran newsroom sensibility. Notably, it blends serious coverage with entertaining debates and a no-nonsense, sometimes provocative tone that can sway from forensic reporting to lively podcast theater, making it appealing for listeners who want both depth and personality in a college football podcast.
