  • Could be better

This group seems to be shy of professional collegiality and camaraderie which leads to excessive bickering amongst the co hosts and eventual spills over to guests at times.

  • Why ?

It’s good that there is less giggling than the other weekend show, but arguing loudly in such a high-pitched, irritating voice is like nails on a chalk board.

  • It’s okay

Their bias against Newsom is extremely clear and clouds their objectivity. They fail to see the forest so to speak and focus on a single tree. They fail to see the bigger picture regarding what’s going wrong in the U.S. The only host who really has more objectivity, and unfortunately always gets interrupted by the others, is Ayman Mohyeldin.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

MAGA civil war erupts over Trump’s war with Iran
Q: Is this a real split in the base, given that Trump campaigned on No New Wars?
Yes, there appears to be a significant divide within the GOP base between long-time hawks and Trump loyalists who supported the strikes but are now questioning the approach and seeking more accountability.
Trump Demands “Unconditional Surrender” by Iran
Q: How unusual is it for a sitting senator like Lindsey Graham to have frequent interactions with foreign intelligence and what does that mean for policy formation?
Recounting concerns about the senator, Brennan suggests such interactions are not unusual but warns that relying on foreign intelligence to push for war can complicate and politicize decision-making, highlighting the influence of well-connected politicians and allies.
Trump Demands “Unconditional Surrender” by Iran
Q: Director Brennan, where do you think we are at this stage of the game and what is the most realistic outcome given the National Intelligence Council's assessment?
Brennan argues the regime is likely to remain defiant and capable, suggesting the war may not topple the government despite intensified strikes, and emphasizes that the administration has struggled to articulate a coherent objective.
First American Casualties
Q: Congressman, what are you hearing about the best case and worst case scenarios as to how this ends up?
Best case would be a political transition that preserves the country and reduces leverage of the IRGC; worst case is chaos with an ungoverned Iran that could destabilize the region and threaten allies.
First American Casualties
Q: Congressman, what are you hearing from your sources about what a plan might actually look like and what the official policy is?
There is at least a Pentagon plan to go after leadership and limit capabilities, but the broader strategy is unclear, and the administration has not convincingly connected military victories to a political outcome on the ground.
