Hey Watchers fam, quick note! No new episode today. We foolishly thought we’d somehow find enough hours in September to stay on track, but that was obviously hubris on our part. We’ll be back in your feed next week with Silence of the Lambs, a full e... more
Last week, Andrea and Jodie checked into One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest to talk rebellion, institutions, and what it takes to be a woman in a male-dominated field. This week, we’re shipping up to Cambridge for a rewatch of Girl, Interrupted. It’s an... more

I’ve been going through the archives, and I have to say that episode 47, in which you discuss the “Doomcoming” episode, features some of the best soundboard work I’ve ever heard. I just jumped on the yellow jackets show! This is so fun for me! Hearing the ladies recaps!

Needed another podcast to listen to after YJ season 3 aired. Love hearing both of your thoughts, whether they back my own theories or you mention ideas I hadn’t thought of! My one complaint is that I just listened to the rewatch of But I’m a Cheerleader and can’t believe you didn’t mention Rufio! Dolph may have been a small part of the movie, but as two people who grew up in the 90s, how did you ignore Dante Basco completely?! Did neither of you watch Hook? Still love the pod!
Just listened to the Dazed & Confused episode. After re-watching this film for the first time in 20 years, I have some thoughts. I was born & raised in a small south Texas town about an hour’s drive from Austin. Born in 1976, graduated HS in 1995. I can confirm that the HS culture felt true to my time in the early 90s. There was no hazing though; I only knew that as something that happened to college frat boys. But the accents! I’m fine if an actor can’t do a southern accent, but Adam Goldberg o... more
