I’ve been listening to Wall Street skinny for awhile now and it’s become one of my favorite podcasts - a must listen. I am an attorney working in the finance industry without much finance background and I feel that Kristen and Jen have helped me educate myself on areas of finance outside my specific practice area. Their insights are great, content is interesting and they make it accessible.
As a retired finance executive, I have Bloomberg, WSJ, FT, and Kristen and Jen in my rotation for keeping up on market chatter. They have quality guests and ask the right questions. Their Industry recaps are icing on the cake.
Put macrovoices down for a week snd give these ladies a try. Great break downs on current events, deals, even finance shows! They will help you develop a view regarding markets, and they introduce you the culture of finance. This is important if your trying to work in the industry in any way. Gotta talk the talk. Anyway one of these girls was in sales and trading snd the other was in IB, So you get a whole view of Wall Street. 10/10. Plus they’re easy on the eyes which doesn’t matter but just a ... more
