Katie is Scotch-Irish and today is St. Patty's Day so you'd think she'd love it. She used to love it. But not now.
What are some of your biggest pet peeves while driving with someone in the car?
We're excited for St Patty's Day and this phone scam is one that has me calling a pawn shop to tell them I found a leprechaun hat and I won't take no for an answer on selling it.
A listener gets asked 5 questions while Katie is out of the studio. Then Katie gets asked the same 5 questions. Whoever gets more wins. Ties go to Katie. Playing for $80

Yaaaaawn
Of all of the War of the Roses podcasts I listen to (and there are several throughout the country), this station is by far the worst. I’ve been listening to the Wake Up Call’s version for some years now (maybe 5+?) and this is the only one I get so annoyed with. There are so many ways that they can get folks to stay on the line and they don’t even try. So many other stations know how to keep people on the line, and they give up so easily, it’s beyond frustrating. I love listening to their second... more
I listen to war of the roses and 2nd date update from so many podcasts and the thing that irritates me the most with the wake up call is how easy they give up with the war of the roses call. They don’t even try to catch the person, the moment they seem like they don’t want to send the flowers they just tell them who they are. Give it a little more pushback please
Best morning show ever! The segments are relatable, hilarious, and also keep me up to date on current events. They all vibe so well together and I honestly find myself literally laughing out loud. I’m also obsessed with 2nd date update and War of the Roses. I used to listen live on my drive to work. My schedule changed so I was ecstatic when I found the podcast. This is a go-to daily, especially if you need quick short segments to play at your leisure.
I love this radio show!
I stumbled upon it, I’ve never even lived in California and I listen to it religiously! Gavin and Katie are soooo funny and I love the segments, they are always doing something new and creative.
👀the only thing that could make this show better is bringing DLo on permanently, js.
