This podcast took a really cool premise and ran with it! Our narrator Sebastian has such a lovable enthusiasm for the magical creatures he studies, and all the supporting characters are neat too! If you want nature documentary meets fantasy meets workplace comedy, this is the show for you! Each episode made me filled with wonder, and the spooky ones were really well done :)

The main character describes the behavior and history behind some fantasy creatures which leads to some entertaining worldbuilding. A greater focus on the main character occurs from the fifth episode onwards. Mostly a fun easy listen, though the more character-focused episodes touch on some heavier subjects.

The Viridian Wilds is an absolutely fantastic podcast that has been on my to-listen-to list for months now. I started it earlier this evening and listened to all of the available episodes in one go. My only complaint is that there aren’t more episodes, I’m so excited to hear more!

Enchanting look at strange and unusual creatures: some are mysterious & mesmerizing - others dangerous & sly... and the original/unique way in which the podcast is told makes it a real winner. Good for older kids, and good for adults as well.
I loved it - and eagerly wait for the much-anticipated second season.

This show introduces the premise that there are fae creatures not far away, and follows a man who deals with them regularly. We get to hear the sounds of little beasts scuffling and snuflfing, or the cries of dangerous creatures in the woods, all with an amusing commentary from the point of view character.
It's a fun, easy listen so far and I'd highly recommend it.
