A classic Christmas tale retold with fantastic actors including Sean Astin, Ben Barnes, and John Rhys Davies. I appreciate that this story touches more of Scrooge’s life than we’ve seen in other retellings. more
When you edit Dickens it better be good. I found some of modifications to the original to be weak and hurt this performance
This is my favorite Christmas story. I love the original and I enjoyed this version very much. I loved the focus on the true meaning of Christmas. Sean Aston did a great job as Scrooge and loving Jon Rhys Davis as the narrator.
Absolutely loved this radio dramas and it will be a part of my family’s Christmas tradition moving forward. The voice acting was superb and I enjoyed the inclusion of Scrooge’s sister (which is more faithful to the novella)
I listened to the first episode while running errands and felt like I missed out on the richness of this podcast. I re-listened to the first episode and the subsequent episodes at home with a blanket, a warm drink, and my full attention. So beautifully created and the script is powerful! (Especially the last one!)
