  • Please Guard Your NHS!

Dear Jemma and Marina - please continue to let your listeners know that if they copy America’s healthcare system the British people will absolutely regret it. America doesn’t have a serious healthcare system. Everything costs so much and you don’t get value for money. Before my wife and I fled, my premium was $1500 a month because we’re older. Then there’s deductibles and copayments. Whatever the weaknesses of the NHS, it’s nothing compared to the horrors that an American style private health ca... more

  • I really like this.

I enjoy this podcast. I look forward to it dropping in my feed. The patreon is a bit too spicy (price-wise) in these current times, however, I do try an endure the adverts so they get some money for their hard work. I have to say though, as embarrassing as it is, I do break out into spontaneous dad-dancing when the intro music comes on. It happens with the pointless theme tune too. Good work ladies.

It's difficult, isn't it? Because if I'd said, you know, Thatcher or Blair, I'm immediately jumping into a camp.
The Trawl Meets: Jeremy Vine
Q: How did you deal with the Strictly curse?
Well, firstly, I think if they ask you, you should do it. And I'll sort Ben out. I'll go and talk to him.

It's called What Most People Think, where I discuss news topics with a rotating cast of comedians.
