  • Look forward to this podcast(s!) every week

I have been listening to the Trawl since the first show and still look forward to my weekly catch-ups with Marina and Jemma. The show is still able to have me crying with laughter and crying in sadness listening to the same episode. Love it, love it, love it, keep doing what you do really well. Xxx

  • Disappointing

While it used to be informative and relatively politically objective and neutral, they’ve gone all Green Party now. Impossible to listen to now so after a year I’ve quit.

  • Great pod!

Love this podcast, Jemma and Marina literally trawl social media so we don’t have to! (although many of us still do!) They provide a refreshingly different take from most of the other political podcasts out there, bringing their humour, but mainly their outrage, to the generally pretty dire news over the last few years. Give it a try if you haven’t found this little gem, and keep on going Jemma and Marina if you can!

Protests can change societies and have been effective throughout history in securing rights and influencing public opinion.
The Trawl Meets Misan Harriman
Q: When you are there and you're capturing these moments of grief, of rage, of trauma, how do you navigate consent and dignity in that moment?
It's all about the trust and connection you build with your subjects who allow you to capture their pain and story.
The Trawl Meets Stewart Lee
Q: What's your guilty pleasure when it comes to TV?
Celebrity Traitors, which I thought was really good.
The Trawl Meets Stewart Lee
Q: If you were prime minister for the day, what would you do?
I would issue a strongly worded condemnation of the forthcoming invasion of Greenland, but I don't think that would be the right thing to do.
