I love listening to Alex and Naomi plus their friends gently and expertly picking through the mess of UK and global politics with a calm, patient and eloquent voice. I love “Oh God What Now” but QR has a different tone that is perhaps even better suited to a post-Tory landscape of British politics. And I love that the politics of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are given serious space too.
I love listening to Alex analyse anything. His way of weighing things up is as elegant and poised as his voice and choice of language. Being half-French, I also appreciate his special European view as a Greek so I always feel that I am getting a fully rounded view.
This is called quiet riot for a a reason - presumably not because it can only be listened to on full volume - the mix is so wrong that the adverts then deafen me. It’s a very interesting show, with humour, but a challenge to physically hear to compared to all other modern podcasts in my feed
I really love this podcast and I really needed to hear your calm and thoughtful insights especially today after the awful thuggery going on in my city of Liverpool yesterday. Thank you
