    Only just discovered this podcast. Very very cool! I’m an in-training / aspiring ultra cyclist, with my sights set on some mountain races next year when I hit 60 - the Atlas and Silk Road, both over thousands of km.

    I’m a year into my training, down 4 stone / 25kg, and pleased with my progress so far. But it’s been all bike, and I know I need to broaden my capabilities and training base to include more strength work. There’s a lot of hike a bike and I’m not ready for it yet.

    There’s not enough podcasts like this one, and it fills a much needed gap. We’ve listened to all the previous season episodes and were really excited to see it return this season— just in time to learn for our upcoming mountaineering adventure.     So much time and energy can be wasted while training for a big climb. This podcast can really help direct your physical/mental preparations for your big climb and for your longevity as a mountaineer. Strongly recommend!
