I cannot wait to hear the next episode! I am so invested in the story and the sound design is so immersive and well done, as well as the storytelling and world building is fantastic! Great work!!
I love the sound design and I’m intrigued by the story. And as a Cortex enthusiast, it’s great to see the system being put to such good use. Looking forward to future episodes!
I am a cortex prime fan, and this audio let’s play has, so far, been my favourite to listen to online. The sound design is amazing, the noises are evocative, immersive, and unsettling… the banter between game, master and player is clear, and unencumbered by awkward pauses or extensive reflections on the rules. Can’t wait for episode two
It’s really clear from the start how much warmth Riley and Matt have both for each other as friends, and for the hobby/art of tabletop. I was immediately hooked by all the intricate details of Matt’s character and the places he explores, and keen to try a “roleplay duet” of my own. Having listened to quite a lot of actual play, it’s so refreshing to find a series that stands out as unique, ambitious, and so very thoughtful.
