  • Started with the Giveaway

I’ll be honest, did I discover this pod as I was desperately scouring the Twitter landscape for free giveaways of CFB26 like a carrion bird desperately trying to find any scrape of meat to pick on? Yes.

That said, I’ve genuinely enjoyed what I’ve listened to since finding their giveaway contest, and had fun with their survey also. Selfishly, I hope this results in a copy of CFB26 as I’m buying a house right now and my wife says our limited spare money has to be used for like, food or whatever.... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What's Next for Texas A&M? with Avery Barrum - Episode 363
Q: But let's talk what they did on the football field. And the first question I think that came to mind when I was queuing you up for the article, what I think a lot of Aggies are interested and excited to talk about, look forward with, how would you grade what Mike Elko did this last season?
Avery argues that Elko deserves credit for getting to the playoffs in his second year, despite the heartbreak of the playoff loss; he also notes the difficulty of balancing the high expectations with the reality of a strong regular-season record, suggesting the season should be viewed as a solid foundation rather than a peak.
What's Next for the Oklahoma Sooners? Matt Blackwell Joins the Show! Episode 358
Q: Do you believe that Oklahoma's championship window is open?
The future prospects of the Sooners in terms of championship contention depend largely on their adaptation to changes and the transfer portal.
What's Next for the Oklahoma Sooners? Matt Blackwell Joins the Show! Episode 358
Q: What will define a successful start for the Sooners in 2026?
Oklahoma needs to go two and one against their challengers, including Michigan and Georgia, to maintain playoff aspirations.
Behind the Scenes of NIL and the Transfer Portal with Zach Cardenez, Brick Athlete Enterprises - Episode 357
Q: What gets Zach Cardenez out of bed every morning?
He runs Brick Athletes to change people's lives and help them level up, emphasizing the importance of relationships.
Behind the Scenes of NIL and the Transfer Portal with Zach Cardenez, Brick Athlete Enterprises - Episode 357
Q: What was that like dealing with those calendar changes and having that window kind of constricted to one singular, you know, window?
Cardenez expressed concern about the timing, suggesting that December was a better window for transferring so that student-athletes could graduate in time.
