After listening to several weeks of shows, I regretfully must excuse myself from listening.
The podcasts on the surface appeared informative, but when some of the reporters speak off the cuff they are opining a theory without supplying facts but in a voice of authority. For example in the monthly roundup in speaking about healthcare they opine that our healthcare system is a quality care that provides on demand care albeit with a hefty bill. I have really enjoyed the Texan for their deep dives into complex policy issues. They cover news that is important to me as a Texan and a person who wants to be educated on issues and the Texas Leg.
However, the promise is highly balanced coverage of both parties- and I feel that as we get closer to the presidential election, I can now tell exactly where the journalists sit by their commentary. I will continue to listen, but will understand there is a bias in some content.
