Terry and John are a great combo, and they have some terrific guests.
I am a 68 year old Mets fan although honestly I didn’t follow baseball until 1984. My mom was a Brooklyn Dodgers fan and gave up baseball entirely when they left NYC (the year I was born alas). But then came Gooden and Strawberry and then Carter and Hernandez and Darling and then the World Series! I was hooked.
My best memories are of the great teams with David Wright and the players with him, and also the teams that Terry managed… Wouldn’t it be fabulous to have a young roster of pitchers w... more
Hi Terry, my name is Gavin. How are you? I enjoy your podcast! I am a young listener. Do you miss managing or no? My favorite Mets managers since I have been alive have been you and Buck. Mendoza is alright but I got some questions with him sometimes. He’s not horrible but he’s okay. If he can clean up his mistakes and if they keep winning not just this year but in the future then I’ll like him more. What was it like to manage David Wright? David is my all time favorite! I met him a few years ag... more

Episodes repeatedly mix insider front-office context, managerial memories, and in-depth conversations with players, former executives, beat reporters, and prominent analysts. Behind-the-scenes stories from the 2015 World Series run, Hall of Fame discussions, and ongoing coverage of trades, drafts, and labor matters give the show a distinctive blend of nostalgia, analysis, and community engagement anchored by charity promotions. Noteworthy is the steady presence of high-profile Mets insiders and Hall of Famers, plus recurring sponsor partnerships that tie baseball storytelling to broader philant... more
