If you can’t read the books, maybe you shouldn’t be doing this. You don’t hear Terry Gross saying, “oh I only read 14 pages of your book.” Because good interviewers know how to read.
I really enjoyed this podcast. However, now that Trump owns CBS I will not be watching any news shows or listening to any podcasts associated with CBS. It’s an abomination.
Insight and ability to ask meaningful questions are the best in the industry bar none. Also excellent with Chad Hartman Friday afternoons on WCCO radio.
While I used to look forward to The Takeout in its old form, after one episode, I’m unsubscribing from this new version because it is not even close to what it used to be. The show used to be a long form interview over a meal where Major Garrett would push back on a guest and fully probe the guest’s perspective on the news and life.
