I have tried to listen to podcasts such as this one over the past few years but my relationship with God turned me away because my core interest is in the Bible that is God through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. I mean, I want biblical references to inform what I listen to. But lately, while still studying the word of God as an undergraduate degree, God has at the same time enabled me to understand who I am in my faith when I am with others - that is, I found out faith is very muc... more
This podcast is so helpful to me. Justin has an unassuming, encouraging manner, inviting the listener to consider the issues. I’m glad he is doing this work of encouraging listeners in their faith. It seems important in today’s world when there are so many competing voices and influences.
I absolutely love this podcast, as well as your re-enchanting one with Belle! Last year I unexpectedly got very ill and ended up in intensive care and hospital for a number of weeks. I wasn’t well enough to read and out of it a lot of the time, but my husband got me headphones so I could listen (as well as block out the noises of intensive care) your podcast and my pastors sermons brought me great comfort at this time so thank you! I’m 30 and have been a Christian for about 5 years now. You’ve s... more
Ugh. He means the rebirth of belief in Christianity. With the supposition, of course, that that’s the only plausible way to conceptualize God. Classic apologetics.
Season two so far is lack luster! What is this focus on male identity, get off this! And your theory that people are coming back to the church is only applicable to the people interviewed. Ironically the UK Is lost its faith, so the rest is focused on a lot on US. Find your faith first. I believe in the one true God and not the god of the people!
