  • Not the Newsagents

I subscribe to the Newsagents, yet this show has been “dumped” into my subscribed podcasts, downloaded and there’s no way to stop it. It’s effectively podcast spam. If I wanted to listen to a sport podcast, I would subscribe to one. Just pack it in, and jog on.

  • Jenny Gow

Firstly, I’ve never written a podcast review. In fact I’ve never written any review before, however I felt compelled to do so follow following listening to the interview with Jenny. The delicate insight into the trauma what is the recovery into Jenny’s unfathomable experience, was touching, emotional and inspiring. I can only wish for the best of luck to Jenny and her family. Jenny is inspirational and good things should only be coming her way way 🙏🏻❤️

Seb Coe | Door open for Russia's return, 'Enhanced Games' threat & Man Utd's new stadium
Q: Do athletes compete under their own national uniforms or as individuals in the new World Athletics championship format?
They compete as individuals but wear their national uniforms, because national attachment draws bigger audiences and preserves a recognizable identity for fans while still allowing the best athletes to compete regardless of country.
Do you still CARE about Joshua vs Fury?
Q: What would a big fight in Ireland (e.g., Dublin/Croke Park) mean for the sport and the promoters?
They discuss the stadium's scale and market potential, suggesting a co-main with Katie Taylor could help fill a massive venue and broaden the event's appeal across fans in Ireland and Europe.
Do you still CARE about Joshua vs Fury?
Q: Are you excited by the prospect of the AJ–Fury fight finally happening this autumn?
The hosts express mixed enthusiasm, acknowledging long-running hype but noting concerns about whether the fighters are still at their peak and whether the match will live up to past expectations.
How Italy's World Cup 'curse' sparked political crisis
Q: Let's talk about a World Cup without Italy. What would that mean for the tournament and Italian football?
The guest outlined that Italy's absence would be a significant loss culturally and commercially, highlighting systemic issues in youth development, coaching, and marketable national branding, while noting the likely political pressure and calls for reforms within Italian football.
The Masters | Why Golf NEEDS Rory McIlroy to go back-to-back?
Q: Who's your tip then, Dan, before we let you go?
Dan predicts a Scheffler masterclass, suggesting Scheffler could tie Rory with a fifth major and that the course conditions will suit him well.
