I so enjoyed this episode. I tell all my friends about how I find my role so hopeful. I’m in the DFV sector and I find so much hope in the fact that women have reached out to my organisation. it’s such a big step but the hope is there in that step.
As an emerging practitioner I find these stories instructive, inspiring and hope- full.
I have a few social work podcasts but this one is my favorite. I binged through 10 episodes while traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu yesterday. The Jeep ride is long and arduous and too bumpy to sleep. I was totally engrossed in every story and felt connected to the story tellers! Thank you!!
Thinking of making a career shift to social work and this podcast is a perfect taster; the highs, the lows, the diversity and the reality, appreciate the whole team.
Being a social worker is hard and I am taking these as lessons for me to utilize when I am working with my clients. More please!❤️
