  • Becoming wish washy

Have listened for years on Sirius. Cancelled subscription of 27$ a month to be offered to return for 5$ As a long time listener always found him to be fair, leaning Right. But not in your face MAGA. On the podcasts it’s has become to right leaning. The poll questions I find are all towards the right or policy So basically no loss from unsubscribing from Sirius

  • Sharp and gives an insight into US opinion

I watch this guy's show on CNN but followed the podcast because I can listen to it anytime, and it's a short 'bite' of the main show. It's depressing sometimes to hear the phone ins because you realize that there are actually Americans who believe that the Emperor really has got his new clothes on. Smerconish succesfully steers a mid course between those who see through Trump, and those strange people who think that Trump is OK. Clearly his show is watched by both sides of the spectrum. His pol... more

  • Trump vs Obama on deportation

    What’s the difference?

The difference is how the Media covers the two. The activists labeled Obama as the “Deporter In Chief” while the entire Liberal Media Ecosystem labels Trump as a Fascist Authoritarian. Remember, they’re still calling Trump “Hitler” and he got the Jewish Hostages released

The Mainstream Media has Brainwashed liberals into believing we’re living in 1930’s Germany. This is why their base has been radicalized

  • I like you but your podcast is mostly crap... It's half ads and self promotion. Learn from the biggest shows, they have minimal ads, maybe 5-10% of the total air time. Make it a little bit longer too, when I am skipping through ads it makes your total show about 6-8 minutes most of the time... Kind of a waste of time.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Today's Poll Question: Was 2024 already lost for Democrats before Biden dropped out?
Q: Was the 2024 election already over by the time Biden dropped out?
Doug Sosnik's analysis argues that yes, Democrats had already blown their chances and that the race was effectively decided by several structural and political factors, with Biden's late withdrawal serving as a capstone to a longer trend.
Is the iPhone the Most Effective Birth Control Ever Invented?
Q: Can you explain how the iPhone rollout serves as a natural experiment?
The iPhone rollout created a split where some regions had AT&T coverage permitting iPhone access and others did not, allowing researchers to compare birth rate changes across these areas as a way to infer potential causal effects.
Michael Took Pew's Political Quiz—and the Results Surprised Him
Q: What changes have been made along the way with Pew's typology and what's the intent?
The typology is refreshed with each iteration to reflect political changes; it aims to illuminate complexity beyond the binary Republican-Democrat divide and to show how groups align with political systems, not just parties.
Michael Took Pew's Political Quiz—and the Results Surprised Him
Q: How is the American electorate changing according to these typologies?
The share of people in the middle groups remains large, but the size of the extremely liberal and extremely conservative groups has grown compared with three decades ago, and topics like gender identity and attitudes toward confrontational politics have become more prominent.
Michael Took Pew's Political Quiz—and the Results Surprised Him
Q: Jocelyn, what do you make of that? I'm in a group that comprises 11% according to this analysis.
The group is one of the more interesting ones this year; it tilts a little to the right but has a distinctive mix of values that stands out, aligning with the explanation Pew provides for that typology.
