50% is better than 0%, huh? Cole and Dakota are here holding down the fort this week, and they spend some time getting Dakota's takes on a lot of the stuff they've missed while participating in whatever that weird brain scan study was and give just t... more
In this very Wookieepedia-heavy episode, we catch up on some recent Ben Solo and Stinky the Hutt news, chat about why we do or do not own The Clone Wars on Blu-ray, and somehow manage to find our way back to wishing for a Solo 2. Pretty standard busi... more
THE CLONE WARS is on pause this week since Dakota is… missing? In an experiment? I truly don't know. But we don't need that show! In our freshly-named random article segment SKYHOPPERS SPECIAL SAUCE, we take a look at an artifact from Star Wars RPGs ... more
It's finally here! The first teaser trailer for THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU has graced our screens at long last, but are we ready for it? Can we even tell what "it" is? Get the answers to all of this (as well as many of the questions you might've had a... more
We're all back! For the first time in what feel like ages, we're getting together to discuss Maul's hostile takeover of Mandalore! Non-stop action! Political intrigue! Myriad deaths! But first, you know we've gotta hit you with some segments, which d... more
I know I said we'd be talking Clone Wars this week, but that was before I knew we'd be down not one but two hosts. Sigh. But Cole and Dakota are here to rescue you with all of the segments you've come to love as well as some Starfighter chat! Also cr... more
Eva is once again missing so Clone Wars is on hold for just one more week (we will be doing it next week come Hell or high water), but we've got segments! And two of us have finished the High Republic, so we have a lot of good discussion about that! ... more
Eva is missing this week, so Clone Wars is taking a back seat yet again! This one gets a little weird. We spend WAY too long debating what constitutes a "tunnel" in the objective sense. But outside of that, a fairly standard episode: segments, and th... more
The only Star Wars podcast (asides from Ben and Cole’s book club) you’ll ever need. The conversations are funny, insightful and actually feels like just chatting about Star Wars with friends, with barely any mention of the online drama related to Star Wars.
Keep it up!
Even though there is 25% Matthew Stover hatred on this podcast, I enjoy the four hosts. Also, 25% of this podcast is adamant in the fact that they have not read the Revenge Of The Sith novelization by Matthew Stover.
I love this podcast. Especially Eva. They’re SO funny. The other three are cool too <3
It is one thing to hate on The Abomination, but Baby Yoda...may the force have mercy on you
Great podcast
There are 3 new hosts to the show and they added a little spice to each episode. The arrivals of Cole, Eva and Dakota keeps the show to stay on target despite a few intanglements. The show is flying causual as always, with insights and knowledge throughout. Highly recommended.
Byn and Ash consistently bring tremendous insight, humor, heart, and wonderful weirdness to this gem of a podcast. Subscribe now for great analysis and commentary from these excellent and energetic hosts who stand out in the crowd with their unique tales on the franchise. Highly highly recommended.
Ben and Ash are two of the funniest, best, most creative, podcast hosts that are the best in the world! The Skyhoppers podcast is a show filled with witty repartee and intelligent dialogue! It's a show no one who likes star wars or a good, interesting time should miss!
Ash and Ben are so great at podcasting, they could hop the whole sky! Listen to them ASAP
I love the back and forth and between the two hosts. Great to hear more voices discussing Star Wars. Just listening to the latest episode they mentioned Leigh Brackett and Lawrence Kasdan writing for Empire Strikes Back, I suggest reading The Secret History of Star Wars to get more details for the whole saga (minis the new movies). You will learn a heck of a lot reading it.
Not really, but this pod sort of has that feel to it. It's two Star Wars geeks sitting down to talk about something they love. I do this with my friends all the time. Listening to these two do it is a lot of fun. Keep it up!
Finally got Itunes to work for me so I can now leave this review. This podcast is great, definitely on eof my favourites. The topics you guys choose is awesome. The Star Wars platforms you guys cover is great because I am exactly the same I love everything Star Wars whether it's the films, TV shows, books. I love it all so it's awesome to hear topics that will cover all these different platforms.
I am slowly catching up on my novels (Lost Stars is the best) so saving all your bookclub episodes... more
Remember when you were young? I do. Sort of. But luckily I have the two amazing hosts of the Skyhoppers Podcast to help remind me what being young was like.
Remember seeing that Star Destroyer fly overhead on the big screen for the first time? Those were happy days.
And remember hanging out with your mates playing Star Wars video games years before the internet? Those were happy days.
And remember when Fonzie jumped all those garbage cans in front of Al's Diner on his motorbike? That was Happ... more
Great Podcast! The conversation is a perfect blend of Star Wars legends and new canon. 😉
This podcast is very relaxed and welcoming and a lot of fun all around. The topics are always chock full of juicy things to talk about!
Ben and Ash are great - whatever subject they tackle, they know their stuff and keep it entertaining. Whatever your passion within the Star Wars universe, be it videogames to TV to the movies, the Skyhoppers podcast will suit you!
