  • Not good anymore

I used to listen on podcast and tune in when i could. After today, i am moving on. This is garbage content, meaningless noise. The stupid contests are fingers on chalk board. No wonder Corus is bankrupt, they have lost their way. Turned woke. Go Woke, go Broke.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Impact of the game - Changes in helping at-risk youth - Why are there so many whales around?
Q: But how is this impacting the bars or restaurants? Like, how big of a deal is this?
Ian explains that viewing crowds boost on-site traffic, sales, and demand for service, especially in areas near stadiums and viewing zones, while also noting police presence and coordinated safety measures help keep the atmosphere lively and manageable.
Resale ticket scams, Are A.I. Datacenters needed in BC & Tipping is getting insane!
Q: What are the rules around selling tickets in BC and refunds if tickets aren't delivered?
If a seller doesn't have possession or control of a ticket, they cannot sell it; refunds should be provided within a set timeframe (30 days to cancel, 60 days for a refund after notice), with enforcement support from Consumer Protection BC.
View on Politics: BC Conservatives taking shape & Too early for a World Cup victory lap?
Q: What are you hearing about the centrist party idea in BC?
There's a real debate about forming a centrist, free-enterprise party, but the main obstacles are building a broad base, raising funds, and sustaining momentum across the province; it would likely take years rather than months to gain traction.
Making Cents of the Markets for June 24th, 2026
Q: Okay, Laurie, what do you tell clients who say they want safe investments right now?
I explain that inflation is real and it erodes purchasing power, so it's crucial to discuss what 'safe' actually means; being too conservative or sitting in GICs or cash can still lead to real loss over time, and a diversified, tax-efficient strategy with active management can help grow wealth while managing risk.
Divided future for BC Conservatives? - Canadian universities slipping - AI Doctors?
Q: OK, so then maybe you could explain to us, why is it OK for doctors to use artificial intelligence and not for patients at home?
AI can assist clinical decision support, help clinicians check symptoms, and provide a second opinion within a controlled medical workflow, while preserving the essential doctor-patient relationship and personalized care decisions.
