  • He loves thyself

The topics selected / discussed are often relevant, but Ben’s favorite guest is himself. He’ll pose a question and he’ll end up answering it himself, before segueing to his guest, “ok, quick, we only have 30 seconds left”… he just can’t seem to shake the narcissism from his E Talk days. At times, he’s insufferable.

  • Lest we forget

While I find Ben often brings balance and nuance when needed to discussions I was disappointed to listen to him and his cohost speak to Climate change at minute 5:45. Ben falsely claims “I get it it…the weather is getting crazier and I’m not denying it”. His assertion is then backed up by his mindless cohort citing “it is…absolutely it is”.

This claim runs completely counter to many scientific journals and even the IPCC itself. Have a look into Alex Epstein’s documented array of facts on Energ... more

  • Love!

Ok love Ben Mulroney. His podcast and opinions make sense to me. I like how he is respectful of the left while he puts forth his candid perspectives. Also thankyou Ben for your support of Israel and the truth. Please consider running for Prime Minister

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hot Takes! Carney's friends, Ford's plane and much more!
Q: What is the potential economic impact of inviting global investors to Toronto for a summit?
The guests express optimism that attracting top investors could catalyze investments and economic growth, though they caution about political implications and need for follow-through on promised measures.
Hot Takes! Carney's friends, Ford's plane and much more!
Q: Is this something that once it's explained away, it makes sense?
The hosts debate that the plane purchase could be justified for security and efficiency, but question the optics and whether clearer communication would have prevented the backlash.
The Whitby Councillor that could be suspended for being... right???
Q: Tell me in your words, what did you violate and do you think it deserved this 30 day pay suspension?
Leahy explains that the core issues revolved around interactions with staff, use of videos, and the choice of music in advocacy — framed as a response to child safety concerns rather than personal malice. He argues the punishment may be disproportionate to the intent, and stresses the importance of accountability while defending his actions as focused on safety and transparency.
"The Hidden Hand" -- a conversation about the rise in antisemitic propaganda
Q: So let's go back to the film, which I loved. And in it, you talk about an orchestrated campaign that probably started a long time before October 7th, 2023, and sort of activated on that day. What did you witness that made you conclude this was a campaign rather than a spontaneous surge of opinions?
I saw organized structures—money, messaging, leadership, and a tight distribution of talking points—working in concert, with professional-looking signage and a clear strategy that guided protests and media coverage. The pattern was replicable across different cities and situations, indicating deliberate coordination rather than spontaneous public sentiment.
How Wealth Simple is getting creative to spur growth in the job market
Q: And how many of the first cohort are sticking around the company?
Three of the first cohort are continuing in the company or pursuing further opportunities, including one heading to Y Combinator; the program aims to create long-term engagements rather than one-off hires.
