  • Too many Socialists!!!

This would be such a good show, however, Mike or Corus, insist on only socialist guests/segments! Bill Beat, total ndp commie! Keith Baldly, proven ndp supporter, that guest host lady, is pure woke commie! I could go on. At least bring balance Mike! Less socialists!!!

Could a social media ban for kids under 16 work in Canada?
Q: What role should parents play in managing their children's social media use?
Dr. Kang advocates a community-wide approach involving teachers, coaches, and parents, with education starting early and ongoing, so families can guide healthy use while platforms are held accountable.
Could a social media ban for kids under 16 work in Canada?
Q: Should Canada ban social media for kids under 16, similar to Australia?
Dr. Kang supports a ban as part of a broader strategy but emphasizes that restrictions should be accompanied by education, digital literacy, and parental involvement rather than a blanket prohibition, noting exceptions for young entrepreneurs and the need for a community approach.
FIFA cancels thousands of hotel bookings ahead of the World Cup
Q: What are the potential economic implications for Vancouver residents and local businesses?
While there will be some operational spillovers (restaurants, bars, etc.), net benefits are likely smaller than optimistic projections due to crowd shifts and price dynamics; many locals may reduce other spending.
FIFA cancels thousands of hotel bookings ahead of the World Cup
Q: Why did FIFA dump 15,000 hotel room nights back onto the Vancouver market as the World Cup nears?
FIFA routinely overbooks and then releases unneeded inventory closer to the event; this is standard practice to manage risk and ensure enough rooms for officials while adjusting to actual demand.
FIFA cancels thousands of hotel rooms ahead of World Cup
Q: Is there a real economic benefit to Vancouver from hosting the World Cup, or is it mostly hype?
While there will be some economic activity in sectors like hospitality and entertainment, the guest argues the overall benefit is smaller than often claimed, with crowding out of local spending and higher costs dampening broader gains; the ROI is unlikely to match exaggerated projections, though some spin-off effects will occur.
