  • Mike is great!

Love listening to the podcast. Way better than the constant radio ads. Mike is not afraid to ask tougher questions. Regular contributors are fairly left leaning.

  • Too many Socialists!!!

This would be such a good show, however, Mike or Corus, insist on only socialist guests/segments! Bill Beat, total ndp commie! Keith Baldly, proven ndp supporter, that guest host lady, is pure woke commie! I could go on. At least bring balance Mike! Less socialists!!!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Baldrey's Beat: Will Premier Eby run for re-election?
Q: How committed are you to running, to staying on for the next election?
The Premier answered with a non-committal stance, emphasizing a focus on governing and the issues important to British Columbians, while acknowledging the two-year-plus horizon before the next election.
At what age should you move out of your parents' home?
Q: Why are so many young people living at home in Metro Vancouver?
Because housing is unaffordable and jobs are not sufficiently available to support independent living; culture and high costs contribute as factors.
At what age should you move out of your parents' home?
Q: What is the front line reality of wait times for seeing a specialist in BC?
Dr. McLeod describes hundreds of patients waiting, with ongoing referrals and triage processes that push urgent cases forward, while non-urgent cases get delayed for months or years.
Would you pay to help rebuild 24 Sussex Drive?
Q: Is no fault here to stay, and what is your pitch on no fault currently?
The current approach emphasizes enhanced care and wage/recovery benefits, aiming to be more affordable and to get people back to their lives more quickly, with ongoing reviews to improve service and determine how best to support claimants.
Bill's Beat: Converting empty condos into social housing?
Q: What are the main objections you're hearing from opponents regarding this condo purchase plan?
Opponents argue it's a bailout for a profitable developer-driven market, potentially inflating prices and diverting funds from genuinely affordable, purpose-built housing, while concerns about price, access, and the long-term impact persist.
