  • Lynda is good - get rid of the guy!

Would like the show if the whinny socialist guy would leave or be quite. He adds nothing . Would rather hear callers thoughts without his high pitched lefty comments interruptions. Will check back in when he is gone.

  • Awful co-host

What would otherwise be a good podcast is ruined by its male co-host; the co-host frequently chimes in with verbal sound bites that add no value to the show. Furthermore, he yells during his special segments and editorials which are utterly irritating to listen to. Without him, this would be a much better program.

  • Its okay

Her main co-host is a bit of a yes-man. Always agreeing with her in an over the top way. I dont like the call-in segment either. She doesnt have a conversation with callers which is awkward to listen to.

Trump to hit Canada with new 50% tariff
Q: What are the potential legal or diplomatic hurdles Canada might face in responding?
Canada could challenge the measures through courts or an international body like the World Trade Organization. The use of a rarely-tested tariff provision could invite legal scrutiny, and Ottawa is weighing how to respond without escalating tensions while protecting key industries.
Trump to hit Canada with new 50% tariff
Q: What can you tell us about the size and scope of the tariffs and what triggers them?
The tariffs are set at 50% and target a broad list of Canadian goods. They are framed by the White House as punitive measures tied to non-compliance with certain policies and perceived unfair practices, with the plan to implement within 30 days.
MLA to introduce Child Water Safety Act after recent spike in drownings
Q: And when you say kids, what grade are we talking about here?
The plan centers on grade 3 students, using the Ontario Swim to Survive program as a reference, aiming for a consistent, low-cost safety curriculum in schools that teaches basic survival skills such as orientation, treading water, and 50-meter swims.
MLA to introduce Child Water Safety Act after recent spike in drownings
Q: So, what is driving this in regards to you wanting to move forward with the legislation this fall?
Dew explains that rising drownings, including a notable spike in the Okanagan, have prompted him to push for a private member's bill that introduces a basic water safety curriculum in BC schools, modeled after Ontario's Swim to Survive, with a focus on grade 3 and a Made in BC standard.
Metro Vancouver board reduced to 34 members
Q: What happens next to implement these reforms?
The reforms now move to the province for legislative amendments to the Local Government Act, since the province has the onus to enact the changes.
