  • Interesting and insightful podcast, something I think everyone should listen to!

From the start of this podcast being released, I have been gripped every week by the interesting stories of people’s lived experiences. The person running the podcast asks great questions, and allows her guests to talk freely and openly without judgement. This is a great podcast to really understand the psyche of other people and what they have been through. Definitely my favourite podcast to date! Thank you!

  • Be better.

Enjoy the topics, however the interview inserts herself way to much.

  • Love but…

Love the stories that come through here, but host - please stop talking over your guests, rewording their statements after they say things, and the affirmative listening mmm’s. It gets muddy, distracting, and feels like you’re putting words into their mouths, and making it about you. Gripping stories though. Looking forward to my next listen, which hopefully has less interruptions of these often harrowing tales.

  • Unfathomable

Just finished listening to The Secret She Carried for Decades. How the guest survived and is now thriving is a miracle. I want to read her book. I did get frustrated when the interviewer would often talk over her and almost put words in her mouth. I think more questions and active listening vs trying to insert herself would have made for a better interview.

The Untold Reality of Undercover Operations
Q: What about it was calling you?
She explains that a combination of personal life upheaval, a hunger to learn, and the lure of more responsibility pulled her toward undercover work, offering both purpose and a path to future opportunities.
America's Most Hated
Q: What would you tell a younger version of yourself?
If you love the world, it will love you back; cultivate inner peace and seek humane, compassionate connections to restore your sense of belonging without harming others.
America's Most Hated
Q: What allowed you to leave and redefine yourself?
Exhaustion from the lifestyle, meaningful acts of compassion from people who refused to follow hate's rules, and the emergence of a new purpose through counter-radicalization work and meditation.
America's Most Hated
Q: How does someone become a neo-Nazi?
By describing a long process where music, peer influence, and rebellious identity formation fuse with untreated trauma, resulting in a reinforced, damaging worldview that seems logical to the person until overwhelming consequences force reconsideration.
America's Most Hated
Q: So where do we start with this?
We start by acknowledging how an individual can be pulled into extremism through a mix of identity seeking, trauma, and social belonging, and then examine the gradual steps of radicalization, the turning points, and the process of leaving behind that life.
