Hi, we're Ben Stiller and Adam Scott. We have severed ourselves from the world for 5 years, making the workplace thriller Severance. While we have no memory of what happened during that time, we thought we should make a companion podcast for all the Innies who will have no recollection of watching, in an attempt to reintegrate them with their memory of the show. For seasons one and two, we did an ... more

All families tell stories about themselves. Those stories are passed down, and like an intergenerational game of telephone, the details sometimes change from fact to fiction. But have you ever wondered how much of the lore is actually true?

im 9 years old and i love the show
This is a great behind-the-scenes look at a great show. But the reason I’m writing this review is because I just listened to the episode on S1E7: Defiant Jazz. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard had me busting out laughing. Their “go to two” routines and Kristen’s impersonations of Patricia Arquette are priceless.
..to listen to this. Thank you so much!
I love the show and these podcasts helped me understand it better. Thank you so much
As a huge fan of the TV series, I’m late to the party on this companion podcast. I finally checked it out a month ago, and once I did, I listened to an episode per day. I’m almost to the end, with one more episode to go. Every episode is great, to the extent that I can’t even pick a favorite. Hope the podcast comes back at some point soon, because it has set the gold standard for how companion podcasts should be made. Thank you, team Severance!

Episodes frequently feature actors, writers, production designers, and notable fans, delivering a mix of technical insight, creative process, and personal anecdotes. Listeners can expect thoughtful conversations about memory, identity, design, and the way big-idea storytelling translates to screen, interspersed with audience Q&A and hotline questions.
