Hi, we're Ben Stiller and Adam Scott. We have severed ourselves from the world for 5 years, making the workplace thriller Severance. While we have no memory of what happened during that time, we thought we should make a companion podcast for all the Innies who will have no recollection of watching, in an attempt to reintegrate them with their memory of the show. This is the Severance Podcast with ... more

So so cool to hear what goes on the writers room and on set. It makes the show come alive all week and not just Friday. That said I do find that half the dialogue is the hosts saying “they were great, they’re so great” about other cast or directors or whatever, really takes me out of it because it’s so excessive.
This podcast is the perfect companion to the best show in a decade. Please enjoy each episode equally.
Just wanted to comment how I appreciate that Ben and Adam always go out of their way to name drop the first and last name of anyone they’re referring to that helped on the show. It really shows their appreciation for everyone’s work no matter how they contributed to the show’s development. As a listener, it makes it easy for me to look into that person’s other work.
This pod is amazing. It’s so well done, thoughtful, insightful, and exactly what I need to make it through the cold winter. Also, from Ep1, whenever I hear Ricken
say “ethically, socially, morally, and scientifically,” I think of the Munchkins from Wizard of Oz when they are talking to Dorothy about the death of the witch.
I just cannot get enough of severance so to be able to have a podcast that I can go to that satiates my hunger to get more is amazing. Even better that it’s put together by the cast and director, Ben Stiller, himself. I’m a diehard fan.
