Perhaps because they you’re.kids get involved and deliver but mostly due to the mellifluous and dulcet tones of Jorma aka the Velvet Cog.
Show used to be about the Lonely Island and SNL. Seth turned it into ‘Corrections,’ meaning, it’s now a show about itself. A snake choking on its own tale while reading comments about what funny names the snake should be called.
If the comments were funnier than the hosts, the show would make sense, but making The Lonely Island stop talking and listen quietly while Seth reads more brain dead wordplay from the listeners sounds like John Mulaney’s intervention. No bits!
Five stars. Every episode somehow makes me appreciate the shorts even more while also sending me down rabbit holes about things I never knew I needed to know. Hearing Seth, Andy, Akiva, Jorm, and the occasional surprise guest break down the creative process is comedy gold. Me likey that!
The only downside is that now I can’t hear certain words without my brain immediately shouting “Righteous Kill!” But that could be my burrito brain…

I love the podcast but the reference to Really Rosie just put me over the edge!!!!
Hey guys! Long time quade, love you guys, don’t want to be too picky but Akiva has said “Ek-cetera” a few times recently and i feel i must call him out. Its “Et-cetera” as in bla bla bla, etc. It’s “T” after “E”…one of those situations where correcting someone who has said a word the wrong wors for way too long and thinking if its worth bringing up…love you guys!!
