  • Blaming Army Drivers for having a poor fleet

A v good episode ref theatre of the British Army.

But Shaun insinuating that fleets aren’t available b/c people aren’t doing their jobs is laughable and so unaware.

The Army fleet in antiquated, handcuffed by safety notices, deficient of spares, made almost impossible to use by a complicated fleet management system and units dont even own vehicles due to whole fleet management.

    So please do

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Has Trump Lost the Initiative in Iran?
Q: And what are your views on Netanyahu's influence and the way the Israelis have interacted with Trump over this?
Cornish argues Netanyahu has aligned a narrative with Trump's willingness to engage, potentially pushing the U.S. toward conflict, but emphasizes the complexity of intergovernmental dynamics and historical patterns in which external actors influence presidential decision-making.
Has Trump Lost the Initiative in Iran?
Q: But first, Paul, as each day passes, it seems that the US and Israel have made a major miscalculation in attacking Iran. What do you think?
Cornish suggests that the situation is less about a simple miscalculation and more about a broader, messy dynamic of warfare in the Gulf, with leadership fallouts, strategic misreadings of NATO and deterrence, and the risk of escalation; he stresses the importance of considering long-term consequences and the limits of military planning when political leadership drives the agenda.
Why did Ajax fail?
Q: What do you think the outcome will be for Ajax?
Avoid complacency; focus on getting the processes right and then assess the outcomes thoroughly.
Why did Ajax fail?
Q: Can you talk us through why the British Army went down this route?
This is really a legacy of 23 years of poor decision making linked to substantial changes in military needs and global conflicts.
Why Ajax Failed.
Q: What are the reasons to keep Ajax despite the existing challenges?
There is a need for system integration and thorough exploration of potential solutions to define whether Ajax can still succeed within the parameters given.
