I really enjoy a lot of what these two discuss, but do find them to be very pro Trump and struggle with that. With today’s guest being a US general that’s friends with Trump I’ll likely drop this one which is a shame. The Times is going far too right wing for me. They had Farage on PMQs yesterday too which is unforgivable. This poison should not be given a platform to spread their lies and hate.
All politicians, particularly those in Government should listen to this pod. It perfectly explains the need to spend more on defence and provides a great perspective on world events from a former head of the army and well informed journalist. We ignore the messages from this pod and the lessons of history at our peril.
Enjoyed the first episodes but seems to be treading the same water each week

An excellent podcast. They discuss the unthinkable, elephants in the room and head in sand attitudes in the context of various contemporary military and political realities.
