Most people believe that books are created in cabins all alone, where authors pound away on some manner of keyboard. Then they hand this masterpiece off to a publisher and it feels very much like it goes down a tube and comes out the other side as a book. By speaking to authors and other book lovers, I'm diving into the mystery that is the book world today. www.book-alchemy.com

  • Look forward to this podcast!

The Secret Library Podcast is a great podcast for anyone who writes or is interested in writing more. Almost every episode features are writing who talks about his or her work (which often gets me interested in reading it) but then Caroline goes deep to the craft of writing (or editing or publishing) which ends up providing super helpful tips for my practice. She also had a solo series a few years back where every episode was discussing the craft (i.e. finding time to write, day jobs, etc) which... more

  • So inspiring!

I love Caroline’s podcast and subscribe to her newsletter, Footnotes which is also packed with value and inspiration. It’s a great place to be reminded that while writing can be lonely and difficult (you’re not alone- all writers feel this from time to time) writing can also be playful, messy and childlike and we can celeb... more
