Just found the podcast on IG and I’m hooked. They’re putting out great content and I hope they keep it up!
New listener here! Not only do they have great chemistry, but they just help you make better decisions 😂 As someone who is always debating on what to watch, I usually look for others’ input and now I’ll be tuning into The Scene for just that. On the other hand, it’s cool to hear their reviews on movies/shows I’ve already watched whether I agree with them or not. You feel like you’re part of the conversation/debate. Super entertaining and informative, keep it up guys!
Entertaining from beginning to end! The hosts have fantastic chemistry! These guys know their stuff! Love the perspectives! Looking forward to more episodes!
I love the chemistry between the three of them, it’s like we’re all a bunch of friends just sitting around our living room chatting about shows and movies. So much fun!
Their episode on Cabin in the Woods is great it is just like a fun time sitting down with friends and talking about a movie you just saw! Really love this and they definitely did Jesse Williams dirty! Definitely recommend
I loved hearing their thoughts and opinions on various movies that they’ve seen. The conversations are very funny and will have you thinking about silly conversations you’ve had with your own family. I throughly enjoyed this podcast and it’s creativity!
Listened to The Thing episode on a recommendation from a podcast group. I’m a huge scary movie buff and these guys were spot on! 👾
Bree and the guys are fun and easy to listen to. The female led dynamic really works. can’t wait to hear more from them :)
I only use the word “surprisingly” because at the time of this review, it’s an indie podcast and relatively new. I felt all three hosts were fun to listen to discuss a lot of details of the show they were somewhat reviewing. In this case (2012 Cabin in the Woods) which I still haven’t seen and probably won’t because they stepped through the entire film, including the ending, but then closed the podcast with “watch Cabin in the Woods”. The show could probably benefit from a message telling new ... more
I love the idea of turning family movie night into a podcast. It means the presenters are very comfortable with each other. The films are well described too. If you’re wondering what movie to watch tonight, check out The Scene!
Fantastic discussion of Pokemon and Detective Pikachu. Brought my back to my childhood. Happy the old game boy games were talked about too. Great hosts. Recommend
There’s such an infectious energy in the couple of episodes I listened to but the really refreshing aspect to this podcast was hearing Black people talk critically about film. I am patiently waiting for them to turn their gaze to Black film because we need WAY more of that right now! In order to support Black storytellers, we need more constructive, supportive criticism and I can’t wait to hear their energy on some Black films! Overall, rally enjoy it!
