  • Solid

Hurley was a good addition to the show. Nice counterbalance.

    Consider more/permanent appearances.

  • Patriots Talk Without Football IQ

Confident delivery can’t hide shallow analysis. This podcast routinely mistakes fantasy narratives for football knowledge, with takes that age poorly almost immediately. Savage contradicts himself week to week without accountability and presents speculation as reporting.

On top of that, the show regularly drifts into gossip and soap-opera commentary that has nothing to do with football, obsessing over personalities, rumors, and drama instead of scheme, execution, or accountability on the field.... more

  • Painful

This is a cringeworthy podcast. Guys try way too hard to think they are edgy both on the podcasts and on Twitter

  • No brainer listen

Savage and Snooty brings it every week with great content. Top that off with some pretty top notch guests, you won’t be disappointed listening.

This was an easy subscribe for me. I look forward to the weekly updates.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

EPISODE 101 - Patriots talk!! Christian Gonzalez! featuring Sophie Weller.
Q: Sophie, what have you observed about the contract talks and leadership?
Sophie notes that public comments from the team and trainer interviews suggest both sides want a deal but stresses the importance of incentives and guaranteed money, with the best outcome being a contract that reflects Gonzalez's value while protecting the team's long-term flexibility.
EPISODE 101 - Patriots talk!! Christian Gonzalez! featuring Sophie Weller.
Q: Brad, how do you feel about it?
The consensus is that the hold-up is likely guaranteed money and the structure of the first few years, with both sides wanting to maximize value while avoiding long-term risk, and the team needing to resolve this quickly with a season nearing.
EPISODE 96 - PATRIOTS TRAINING CAMP. Boutte?? Kyle Williams??
Q: How can you trade Boutte when he seems to be the guy making every big play in camp this far, you know, four days in?
The host explains that while Boutte has shown production, trade discussions depend on overall value, depth needs, and the team's willingness to accept a package; there's still belief Boutte could be moved depending on the offer and roster needs.
EPISODE 96 - PATRIOTS TRAINING CAMP. Boutte?? Kyle Williams??
Q: And Pete, what have you seen from down there and give me your opinion right now on Kyle Williams and how you're viewing his position?
Pete notes that Williams is currently the sixth receiver, behind Chisholm and others, and that his role is unclear beyond special teams; Williams hasn't stood out in practice, and the coaching staff seems to be prioritizing other depth options.
EPISODE 77 -AJ Brown and Free Agency!!!
Q: Do you think the Patriots will target a tight end or a wide receiver in the draft this year?
There is talk they need a tight end of the future, but the priority may shift toward protecting May and upgrading the offensive line; a receiver remains in play if a top talent falls but they should avoid reaching and instead take best-player-available.
