  • Found you on apple… finally

I’ve been a roach rider since 2016 but I have always listened on Spotify. I tried Apple Music in the past as part of free trials and such and I always tried to search the podcast but I could never find it.. until just now today February 8, 2024. I learned that there is a separate app for podcasts lol!! Anyways great show as always! Keep on rollin baby!!!

  • It’s good, even if you don’t like nu metal!

I don’t like nu metal. I’m not even that crazy about plain old regular metal. But I do love listening to funny people talk passionately about music they love, or hate, or just sort of tolerate. Whichever. This podcast delivers on that every episode. Give it a listen!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 495: A Conversation with Derek Blevins of My Ticket Home
Q: Did you always know that One For The Garden was going to be the closer?
100%. We had the foresight of wanting to end it heavy, and this song felt like the last thing we want someone to hear before they leave.
Episode 495: A Conversation with Derek Blevins of My Ticket Home
Q: Was this always the title of the album, Pure To A Fault? Were you going through different titles?
No, we ran through a ton of them, but that one was always the standout for us, just because it feels true to form.
Episode 495: A Conversation with Derek Blevins of My Ticket Home
Q: Derek, how are you feeling about the album so far and the response?
I'm grateful for the way everyone else has perceived it. It is a healthy blend of everything we've done before with new elements that we've never touched in the past.
Episode 487: Who’s Tweeting w/ John Cullen
Q: What do you think of the current state of Nu Metal?
It feels like there is a resurgence, with many people reinvestigating the genre positively, which we had been advocating for before the revival took off.
Episode 487: Who’s Tweeting w/ John Cullen
Q: How has curling impacted your life, John?
Curling is now essentially my full-time job, as I've transitioned from competitive play to media and commentary in the sport.
