  • The Reset

Sam Delaney is giving regular blokes the language and confidence to have conversations they really need to be having. His podcast has inspired me to join a men’s group in Australia to do just that. Men experience fragility, loneliness and sadness, but by talking about it we can support one another through these normal human emotions. Sam’s podcast helps get these conversations started.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Professor Paul Eastwick
Q: What can people do to navigate the anxiety and uncertainty in early attraction stages?
The best approach is to exhibit vulnerability and openness, as these qualities often generate attraction, even though they can feel anxiety-inducing at first.
Professor Paul Eastwick
Q: Most people think they know what they want in a partner. So why do people so often end up with someone completely different?
People's stated preferences often don't match their revealed preferences; individuals may say they want certain traits, but those don't necessarily align with who they actually are attracted to in real life.

Jason reflected on his struggles with addiction and described a turning point when he realized he needed to change after experiencing significant personal issues.
Ziyad Marar

Ziyad believes it can help us connect better with ourselves and others, but acknowledges limits to self-awareness.
Ziyad Marar
Q: What drew you personally to write a whole book about noticing?
Ziyad mentioned having an awareness of not being good at noticing and realizing the importance of it in his life over several years.
