I have found comfort and wisdom listening to Anshan. Her episodes are usually under 30 minutes and I emerge with self forgiveness, greater calm and tools for my journey with my high needs teen.
I am the parent of a probably PDA almost six year old boy and this podcast is an absolute godsend for me, helping me to understand how my own nervous system and childhood trauma are triggered by adopting a low demand parenting style in order to try to meet my child’s needs.
The presenter’s voice is so calming in itself and I always feel after listening to it as if I’ve both learnt something AND sat in a healing sound bath for a while. Highly recommended to all parents of high needs kids.
I love this podcast. Afshan’s skillful words and gentle way of being has helped me so much through periods of grief and burnout as the mom of a PDA Austistic child.
Really enjoying how Afshan connects with her audience and offers learned lessons and insights to other moms of ND kids
